Since the arrival of the avocado made such a splash should we really be surprised that the rest of the mexican food family has moved on over and been welcomed with opened arms.
Mexican restaurants have become increasing popular in the twenty first century throughout the westernised society joining other well loved cultured food such as chinese and Indian cuisine. We now have the luxury of picking food from all over the world with new flavours and tastes to suit everyone’s palette.
So without further ado this is our top five countdown
So coming in at the number one spot is a dish for all you spice lover, Enchiladas. This dish has a personality of its own with its fiery attitude and complimentary sides. It is comprised of
Mexican chicken, chilli beef, spiced mixed vegetables, cheese, potatoes or many combinations depending on the sheff.

This dish is made up from flour tortilla wrapped around spicy beef and mexican chicken and folded neatly into rectangular packages. These can be accompanied by sour cream, guacamole,cheese or salsa.
An authentic dish in form all the way in Louisiana consisting mainly of meat and rice. Traditionally sausages would be at the heart of this meal along with more meat or seafood. This is then often paired with a vegetable mix including onion, celery and green bell pepper or carrots, tomatoes, chilis and garlic.

If our top three so far haven’t made you crave Mexican food then our next option will. Steak Guadalajara is a 10 oz tender sirloin with a mouth watering mixture of cheese and onion just adding the the voluminous amount of favour in this dish.

Pozole is made typically with pork and then seasoned and garnished with shredded cabbage, chile peppers, onion, garlic, radishes, salsa, limes and/or everyone’s favorite fruit the avocado.
